EmpowerU-DISHA is an educational initiative undertaken by the Giridih district in Jharkhand. This initiative aims to oversee teacher and student attendance, review teacher performance, and enhance student learning outcomes by fostering a stronger connection between teachers and students in government schools across the district through e-governance.

Key Features:

• ATTENDANCE TRACKING: The app facilitates offline marking of teacher and student attendance with GPS tracking. It also allows for updating attendance via SMS in the absence of an internet connection.
• LEAVE MANAGEMENT: Real-time leave applications enable the monitoring of teacher absenteeism. There is an option to request leave via SMS when internet connectivity is unavailable.
• SCHOOL MONITORING:
  1. School infrastructural facility monitoring for effective education delivery.
  2. Monitoring of Mid-Day Meal services.
  3. Assessment of cleanliness standards.
• GOOD GOVERNANCE:
  1. Analysis of school-wise Pupil-Teacher Ratio (PTR).
  2. Evaluation of student and teacher regularity.
  3. Enhancement of operational efficiency.
  4. Promotion of seamless coordination among stakeholders.
• STUDENT ENROLLMENTS ANALYSIS:
  1. Demographic Enrollment Analysis to determine area-wise enrollment percentages.
  2. Identification of factors influencing enrollments and provision of recommendations for improvement.
